Placing an order

How to shop at titityy.fi


How can I place an order?

Place your order online at titityy.fi - that is the fastest way. We do our best to handle your order as fast as possible! The courier picks up orders at our warehouse every business day at 13.00-14.30. After this the parcel is at couriers’ hands.


Do I have to log in to place an order?

You can place you order without registering or logging in - add products to cart and proceed to shopping cart to place the order. You have many benefits as a registered customer: You will see your purchase history, you may easily follow your order status and save your address for future orders.


Did you get my order?

You will receive an order confirmation and a payment confirmation to the email address you gave at checkout. If you have not received a confirmation, please check your spam folder or contact our customer service.


How can I check my order status?

We will keep you updated by email and as a logged in customer you may check the order status on your account. We will email you a shipping confirmation when your order is packed and ready to pick up. You may track your order via a tracking link in the shipping confirmation.


Can I change the shipping information I gave at checkout?

You may change the shipping address or other contact information only if the order is not yet shipped. We pack orders fast - please contact our customer service asap. Please note that the customer is responsible for giving the correct contact information for shipping. 


Can I add products to the order I placed?

You can add more products to your order only if you haven't received your delivery notification in your e-mail yet. You can make the additional order through our website by choosing the delivery method Add to order (Shipping costs 0.00 €/$) this way you don't have to pay any separate shipping costs.


Make sure your order hasn't been shipped already before making your additional order!


The product I need is only available in-store, can I order it online?

Unfortunately not. Our online shop is in a separate location and only products in stock in our online shop can be purchased via titityy.fi. Visit our shop to purchase in-store items!


The item is out of stock, when will it be available?

Please request a re-stock notification via titityy.fi. When the item is back in stock, you will get an automatic notification by email and may place an order. Depending on the item, the stock will be replenished in days to months. We take re-stock notification requests and knitters’ wishes into account, so don’t hesitate to contact us if you need a color or an item we don’t carry right now.

A product I ordered is out of stock, what now?

All items in stock and available in our shop are ready to ship. Sometimes a product is sold out after all due to a stock error. If that happens, we will offer you a product to replace the missing item. You may replace the missing object with another similar item of the same price category, or accept a refund on that item.


A product isn't sold separately but with another product purchase, what's that?

Some patterns or other products are only available with another product purchase. Retailer terms require us to notify you about this. For example, Isager patterns are to be sold with Isager yarns, and Sandnes Garn booklets are sold with Sandnes Garn yarn purchase only. We are happy to help you choose the yarns! Just ask by email or phone, and we try to give you as much details about patterns and yarn requirements to help you choose.


Discount Codes and Gift Cards

Can I purchase a gift card to titityy.fi?

Yes, an electronic -gift card is available at our shop. It is in pdf format and may be printed to the receiver.


How to use a discount code or gift card?

Use the code in shopping cart before checkout. Shop accepts one discount code and one gift card code per order. Gift cards may be used in-store too.


May a discount code be applied in my order after checkout?

Unfortunately not. Please apply any code before checkout.


My gift card code is not working, what do I do?

Apply the gift card before checkout. If you change shipping country or shipping method, please remove the applied gift card code and apply it again.

Pre-orders

What is a pre-order item?

A pre-order item is a product that will be published or arrive on a given time or date - new books or limited edition products. Don’t want to miss a product? Pre-order it!


Will I get the pre-order item on the launch day?

We make sure to ship pre-orders so that they arrive on the publishing day. Depending on the supplier and the courier there might be delays.


My order includes in-stock items and pre-order items. When will the order be shipped?

We ship orders in one shipment when all items are ready to ship. If you need in-stock products asap, please place a separate order.

How can I pay my order?

The payment methods we use are safe and secure - Paypal offers safe payments by Paypal account, credit or debit cards. Finnish online banks, credit and debit cards and Collector Bank invoice (for Finnish customers) are available via Paytrail.

How long does it take to get my order?

After checkout your order will be handled and packed and the shipped. We handle and pack orders fast, usually in 1-3 business days. Delivery time depends on your location, chosen shipping method and the courier company, it is usually 1-3 business days.


Can I split my order in separate shipments?

Order is shipped as one shipment. If you purchase a pre-order item, the whole order including the pre-order item will be shipped when all items are in stock.


Where is titityy.fi?

We are in Jyväskylä, Finland, and ship all the orders directly from our yarn warehouse! 


Is my order shipped?

When we have packed your order and it is ready to ship, you will receive an automatic shipping confirmation with tracking details. When the courier picks up your order, the tracking details will get updates that you may follow via the tracking link provided in the shipping confirmation email.


May I track my order?

International orders are shipped with DHL Express with tracking. Most domestic orders are trackable, with the exception of domestic letters.


I have not received a shipping confirmation or the tracking code is missing from the confirmation, what now?

Check email and your spam folder first. We contact you by email. If you suspect you have given us an incorrect email address, please contact our customer service.

If the tracking number is missing from the confirmation email, the updates about the shipment will be emailed or texted to you when the parcel is in delivery.


Courier has returned my order to shipper, what now?

If the courier is unable to deliver your order because of incorrect contact information or you did not pick up the order from the pick up point, we will charge you the costs of return and new shipping. Thank you for understanding.


May I pick up my order in-store at Yarn Shop Titityy?

Yes! Choose “Click & Collect from Titityy Shop” as the shipping method and come collect your order on shop hours after we have notified you that your order is ready for collection.


What are shipping costs for PDF patterns only?

No cost for email shipping method. PDF patterns are either emailed to you instantly or in shop hours depending on the file.

I got the wrong/broken item, or an item is missing from my order, what to do now?

We pack and ship every order with care. If however there is a problem with your order, please let us know and we will sort it out!
