Juntu knit-a-long

Juntu means a forest path, and it's indeed the perfect sweater for those who make their way. Come join us in knitting Juntu using Tukuwool DK yarn. Juntu is designed by Titityy’s Tiina Huhtaniemi.

Juntu is a free and easy raglan pattern—perfect even for your first sweater. The Juntu is knit top-down using 5 mm needles. You can download the free pattern from our online store in both Finnish and English, here. You'll soon find the pattern on Ravelry as well.

Tukuwool DK has several new beautiful shades, such as the Hot Pink Juntu on Tiina's needles. In fact, the dashing pink version is already Tiina's fourth Juntu, and she's also creating a striped tunic version using the colors Manna and Sysi.

Let's knit together!

Come join us in knitting Juntu using Tukuwool DK yarn and let's create beautiful sweaters together! The knit-along (KAL) will run until the end of August.

Once you’ve knitted the basic pattern, you can easily modify the appearance of the sweater by playing with different stitch patterns. Try knitting stockinette, seed stitch, or other simple textured stitches, make the ribbing longer, or switch to a different ribbing patterns like 2x2 rib stitch.
