www.titityy.fi is a B2C online shop of Finnish yarn shop TitiTyy Oy registered in Finland. VAT number FI25200922. The prices shown exclude shipping costs.

European Union: Prices are in EUR and include Finnish Value Added Tax (VAT) 24% or 10%.

PRICES AND DISCOUNTS:  Campaigns and discount terms in our shop and in our marketing (social media, newsletter, online shop) are announced in EUR and including Finnish Value Added Tax. Please note that prices and discounts may vary depending on shipping country (EU, Non-EU, US).

Non-EU countries: When ordering outside EU, prices  choosing your country from the menu  shows prices without Value Added Tax.

US Customers: Choose United States as your shipping country to shop in USD. Prices shown in USD.

Because of BREXIT, UK orders are disabled at the moment. If you wish to place an order, please note that you need to do it by email and the order total has to be over £135 - approximately 153€ (not including VAT). Sorry for the inconvenience! 

PLACING AN ORDER

You can place orders in our online shop by adding products to cart and proceeding to check out following the instructions given in the order form. Please make sure you return back to our online shop after the payment. Otherwise the order does not register to us.

You must be at least 18 years old and provide a valid email address. You are responsible for giving us your accurate billing and shipping information. When you have confirmed and paid an order you accept the terms and conditions in listed here and create a contract with TitiTyy Oy.  These terms and conditions apply unless other agreements have been made. We reserve the right to amend these terms from time to time without prior notice to you. The version of terms that will apply to your order will be those on www.titityy.fi at the time you place your order.

After completing your order by checking out and paying, you will receive an order confirmation email to the email address given in the order form. 

You should check that the details in this order acknowledgment are correct, and keep a copy of it.

You will receive a confirmation of shipping via email once your order has been shipped.

The completion of the contract will take place on the dispatch to you of the goods ordered unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order, or you have cancelled it. The contract will relate only to the goods stated in the order confirmation. We will not be obliged to supply any other goods, which may have been in your order until you receive an e-mail confirming those goods.


PAYMENT

The products/services and applicable shipping fees will be paid when placing the order. The following payment methods are accepted: Paypal, Finnish online banks (Nordea, Osuuspankki, Danske Bank, Aktia, POP Bank, Säästöpankit, OmaSäästöpankki, Handelsbanken, S-Pankki, Ålandsbanken), credit/debit cards and Collector invoice/installment. Payments are handled by Paytrail Plc and Paypal.

SHIPPING


Since April 2018 we use DHL Worldwide Express, which is fast, trackable and reliable. DHL Worldwide Express provides delivery on the next possible business day. Depending on your location you order will arrive within a couple of days after we have packed and shipped your order!

We aim to dispatch orders in the fastest possible time and in the order in which they are placed. All orders will be shipped within 1-2 days if all products ordered are in stock and unless otherwise agreed. We process and ship nearly all orders within 1 business day (often the same day). Delivery times are an estimate and not a guarantee.

DOMESTIC ORDERS

The following terms apply when your order is shipped to an address in Finland. Shipping cost is shown at checkout.

Free shipping for Domestic orders over 80 € (after discounts and gift cards, order weight must be less than 5 kg). 

Orders are shipped Matkahuolto or Posti. Parcels are picked up from TitiTyy every business day at 2.30 pm. Orders placed before noon are usually dispatched on that day.

Small Postal Parcel in Finland “Pikkupaketti”
Small parcels under 3 cm (needles and small accessories) straight to you. Estimated shipping time 1-4 business days excluding the shipping day. Will be delivered to recipient mainly on the second business day after dispatch. Trackable.

Postal Parcel in Finland
Posti’s parcel to a local post office or parcel point. A parcel point is an easy and convenient way for your customer to receive items in Finland. A customer shops in your online store and then selects the parcel point as the delivery type and chooses the preferred pick-up location. The item will be in the parcel point selected by the customer the next day after 4 p.m., or a day later in some areas. An electronic notice of arrival will be sent to the recipient as an SMS, and the delivery is available for pick-up on the day of arrival after 4 p.m. at the parcel terminal with the locker code. The recipient also receives an e-mail copy of the notice of arrival. Trackable.

Matkahuolto parcel “Matkahuolto Lähellä-paketti”
The recipient can pick up the parcel at the chosen Matkahuolto parcel point usually 1-2 days after dispatch. Trackable.

Use this shipping method only if you are able to pick up the order from our brick&mortar shop in Jyväskylä OR if you want to combine shipping of separate orders (up to 1 kilo of total weight).

All international customers are responsible for your country's customs fees and duties.

Customs forms are filled out in accordance with Finnish and international law to accurately reflect value and contents of the package.

You, the buyer, are responsible for any VAT, tariff, duty, taxes, handling fees, customs clearance charges, etc. required by your country for importing consumer goods. We do not collect this beforehand, and cannot give you an estimate of the cost - charges vary around the world.As an international consumer, please do your research to ensure there are no surprise charges when clearing your package through customs, and to have an idea of what the additional cost may be. If you are unfamiliar with customs fees and charges, please speak to your local postal or customs office for more information. It is your full responsibility to verify the customs, duties charges, and procedures in your country prior to placing your order. Also please note that we cannot split any orders for smaller batches in order to avoid customs or other fees.

If customs fees and charges are refused at the time of delivery, your order will be returned and you will not receive a refund for shipment and return costs. Also if the order cannot be shipped because of your country's customs policy and therefore returned, we will not refund you the costs for shipping and returning the parcel. Also, if you refuse to receive the shipment for one reason or another and the parcel is returned to us we reserve the right to deduct the cost of the return from the total amount of the refund.

Product information

We provide as accurate and helpful information as possible to our customers, but you should take care when relying on information provided by us, and check against the manufacturer's instructions.

The inclusion of any products or services in www.titityy.fi does not warrant that these products or services will be available at any time. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Titityy Oy is not responsible for invalid price or stock information. If you can’t add a product to cart, it is not in stock right now. The same products listed in the online shop are available in our brick and mortar shop in Jyväskylä, Finland. If a product you ordered was sold out or not in stock for other reasons, we contact you as soon as possible and try to find a suitable replacement. We do not ship backorders.

The product photos are chosen so that they represent the product and color the best, most realistic way possible. Please note that the colors may look different on different devices and monitors. Lots of our yarns are hand dyed so please note that there might be variation between individual skeins and lots.

CANCELLATION AND RETURNS

Domestic Orders (shipped to Finland):

You have right to cancel and return on orders within 30 days after you received your goods for a full refund. Free return applies if you return the goods according to our return terms: Notify Titityy about the return by email info (at) titityy.fi. Let us know what you are returning. One return per order -  you may return some or all goods in your order.

Return via Posti or Matkahuolto using return codes: Matkahuolto Return code 9515564. Posti return code 636868. If goods are not returned using return code, the customer is responsible for return fees.

All discounts and offers will be re-evaluated in case of return. If your order is under 80 € after return, actual shipping cost will be deducted from the refund.

Any item for return must be in completely new and sellable condition. It must have the original tag and packaging. It may not have been used in any way, or made into a ball from a skein. Yarn that is re-skeined cannot be exchanged. Yarn that has been in the presence of smoke cannot be exchanged. Yarn must be clean and in its original condition. 

When the returned goods arrive, we will refund the items within 2-3 working days. 

European Union:

In the EU you have the right to cancel purchases made online within 14 days after you received your goods for a full refund. You can do so for any reason. You must inform us about canceling your order by a written statement by email, and send the goods back within 14 days of informing us about the cancellation.

We are happy to accept returns and refund item(s) (excluding shipping costs) if you hare unhappy with an item. You have to inform us about the return within 14 days of receiving your order, and return the goods without delay. 

The buyer is responsible for the cost of the return postage. Please arrange for the parcel to be sent back via a carrier of your choice. Please save a receipt or proof of postage, as Titityy cannot be held responsible for any goods lost in transit.

Any item for return must be in completely new and sellable condition. It must have the original tag and packaging. It may not have been used in any way, or made into a ball from a skein. Yarn that is re-skeined cannot be exchanged. Yarn that has been in the presence of smoke cannot be exchanged. Yarn must be clean and in its original condition.

Other countries:

You may cancel your order right after you have placed it, but we do not accept order cancellations after having shipped your order.

We cannot accept returns for books, patterns or yarn clubs.

Did you receive a wrong item?

The online orders are picked and shipped by hand by our shop staff. Customer service and efficiency are valued in our shop, but unfortunately mistakes do happen sometimes. We are very sorry if we sent you the wrong item. We kindly ask you to contact us immediately and we will handle the case and ship you the right product.
