Smooth, new alpaca yarn Alva from Filcolana. This lace weight 2 ply yarn is an ideal choice for all kinds of projects from lace shawls to light weight garments when using one strand, or two strands together for sport weight alpaca accessories and knits.

Alpaca is soft fiber with subtle halo and sheen, that comes alive especially in the finished garment. The cute, 25 g skein offers many possibilities for combining colours.

Alva comes in over 30 colours familiar from Filcolana's other popular yarns such as Arwetta and Peruvian Highland Wool. Explore with fibers and colors by knitting different yarns together. Try Alva for all patterns that require lace weight yarns such as silk mohair for smooth and warm fabric with less halo than when using mohair.
